In this video, Dr. Berg talks about glycogen. Glycogen is the storage of sugar or glucose, glucose molecules strung connected together collectively. When you consume carbs, the body increases insulin and then starts storing glycogen. Then at a certain point, anything extra starts to be converted into fat. Glycogen can store only about 1700 calories.

He also talks about what normal blood sugar is, and how the cortisol activated by stress increases the storage of glucose.
