The amount of influence that exercise has on your weight is a lot smaller than you may think—at the very most, it’s only 15%. 85% has to do with what you eat and the frequency of your meals.

Benefits of exercise that don’t have anything to do with weight loss:

1. Prevents the loss of muscle mass
2. Builds antioxidant reserve
3. Stabilizes blood sugar
4. Increases oxygen (gives you energy)
5. Decreases stress
6. Enhances sleep
7. Increases flexibility
