Riah, 25, was on the receiving end of the ultimatum, after her boyfriend of two years, Trey, decided he was ready for their next step together. The pair met on a dating app, but their relationship quickly accelerated after moving in together.

Now, Riah, who graduated from the University of South Carolina with a major in journalism in 2019, isn’t quite sure Trey is her forever person. She’s looking for him to put in more effort, which Trey says is due to her “unrealistic expectations” set by social media.
